CEO Coaching
As the CEO of an SME, your role requires not only strategic vision and leadership but also a strong personal presence, a clear state of mind, and unwavering clarity. These strengths are crucial in navigating the complexities of your position and driving your company towards success. An executive coach can be a pivotal ally, enhancing these attributes while addressing your top concerns of leadership development, strategic planning, and team building.
Leadership Development
Your ability to project a strong personal presence sets the tone for the entire organization. An executive coach helps you refine this presence, ensuring that it aligns with your leadership style and organizational goals. By fostering a clear state of mind and enhancing your self-awareness, a coach enables you to make informed, confident decisions. This clarity not only boosts your effectiveness as a leader but also inspires trust and respect from your team and stakeholders.
Strategic Planning
A clear and focused state of mind is essential for strategic planning. An executive coach assists you in channeling your mental clarity to define a compelling vision and mission for your company. By setting clear, measurable goals and developing actionable plans, a coach helps you maintain focus and direction. This strategic clarity allows you to adapt to market changes and unforeseen challenges, ensuring your company remains resilient and competitive.
Team Building
Your personal presence and clarity are vital in building and leading a cohesive, high-performing team. An executive coach supports you in leveraging these strengths to enhance team dynamics and foster a collaborative work environment. By providing guidance on talent management and conflict resolution, a coach helps you create a positive workplace culture where each team member feels valued and motivated. This, in turn, drives overall business success and supports the achievement of your strategic objectives.
In summary, an executive coach enhances your innate strengths of personal presence, state of mind, and clarity, while addressing critical areas of leadership development, strategic planning, and team building. By partnering with a coach, you can harness these attributes to lead your company effectively, drive sustainable growth, and achieve long-term success.
State of Mind Training For Teams
Your organisation’s greatest resource is the State of Mind of your team. Creative and more efficient solution creation and improved communication and collaboration.
State of Mind Training for Teams
State of Mind training for Teams helps improve interpersonal relationships, creating a better culture that enhances and sustains performance, collaboration, and clear communication.
Objectives:
Assist team members and leaders in communicating better and more easily with each other.
Help employees experience less stress and greater well-being in both their work environment and personal lives, as these areas significantly impact each other.
Support a positive culture that aids in making better decisions and clearer communication, both internally and with patients and clients.
Description:
The key to excellent performance and communication is a clear, focused, and positive State of Mind. From this state, it is much easier to fully utilize existing skills and experience. The training/coaching introduces a simple, principle-based approach that provides participants with insight into their own functioning and State of Mind.
Methodology:
This training goes beyond the traditional approach of communication tips and techniques, offering a fundamental, insightful understanding that improves overall competencies. A toolbox of techniques is only as effective as the quality of the State of Mind of the person using them. No technique can generate clear, respectful communication or quality decisions for someone who feels frustrated, pressured, or victimized.
Training Content:
The training consists of two parts:
Part 1: Introduction to the fundamental principles behind State of Mind, performance, and communication.
Part 2: Practical implications and applications within the context important to the participant—realizations and insights that lead to lasting learning and growth. (Information without insight has a short lifespan)
Training Material and Infrastructure:
This training requires a setting that encourages participants to discover new insights for themselves, not just to listen to the trainer and take notes. Participants are invited to actively engage. For this, an off-site location is ideal, where participants can avoid distractions from daily obligations and interruptions.
- The organizer provides a projector and two flip charts.
- Each participant receives the book: Insight – Towards More Resilience and Well-being.
- Measuring the positive effects of the training through pre- and post-training evaluations.
- Installing a team metric that measures the team’s progress and helps support and maintain it.
Health Of The Helper Program
Burnout prevention and healing specifically for those in service of others.
Whether you’re a healthcare provider, nurse, surgeon, caregiver, or support professional, your work is invaluable. However, it often comes with significant physical, emotional, and mental challenges.
In 2014, after spending four months in the hospital battling leukemia, I witnessed firsthand the enormous effort nurses and medical personnel invest daily in the care of others. They operate under immense stress and pressure, with burnout frequently looming just around the corner.
I also began encountering an increasing number of “burnout coaches” who were, ironically, struggling with burnout themselves. And met many employees who, despite receiving support from psychologists and burnout & stress coaches, were not making meaningful progress in their recovery.
This prompted a deeper search for genuine solutions to support those who help others—solutions that go beyond short-term fixes. Too often, we see individuals unable to reintegrate after burnout or repeatedly relapsing, highlighting the need for a more comprehensive approach.
To address this, I’ve brought together a well-being and burnout prevention program, designed and developed by Three Principles psychologists and practitioners in the US, and refined through implementation and deep peer reviewed testing at the Mayo Clinic. This program is specifically tailored to prioritize the well-being of those who tirelessly care for others.
By combining this effective program with a deep understanding of team dynamics and workplace culture, I’ve created the holistic “Health of the Helper” program. It is designed for medical professionals, nurses, therapists, and coaches, offering a deeper level of well-being by addressing both personal and interpersonal psychological functioning.
This training goes beyond traditional burnout tips and techniques, providing a foundational understanding that enhances overall competencies, resilience and well-being. Its principles-based approach makes it applicable across primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention levels.
The “Health of the Helper” program is adaptable to the specific needs of medical organizations, available as a keynote presentation, half-day to three-day workshops, or as part of an organizational change initiative aimed at reducing high absenteeism.

“Inzicht” (pub. 2021, only available in Dutch atm), delves deeper into the approach behind the Health of the Helper program. “Inzicht” offers an in-depth exploration of the principles and practices that underpin our efforts to enhance well-being and build resilience among those who care for others.
